The FRB in action

Data synthesis at CESAB

To answer some of the questions raised by biodiversity research, the collection of considerable amount of information t is required, and this often goes beyond the datasets collected in individual research projects or time and resources-limited research programmes.

CESAB promotes a new way of doing biodiversity research by making a better use of existing data and information.

Located at the Bouisson Bertrand Institute, a site of the University of Montpellier, CESAB welcomes groups of researchers to its premises for long-term working sessions. The working groups regularly publish their results in major scientific journals such as Nature, Plos One, etc.
