Romain Frelat joined the FRB as a data-scientist in January 2025. He offers technical and methodological support for projects from the program FRB-MTECT-OFB « Pressions anthropiques et impact sur la biodiversité terrestre » [fr]. His work also aims to facilitate the collaboration among the different research groups and to help valorization results to partners.

 

Romain is a quantitative ecologist, with 15 years of experience analyzing and integrating diverse data from terrestrial and marine ecosystems. His interest lies in using and developing robust and reproducible tools to transform complex datasets into meaningful information, especially to inform society for a harmonious cohabitation within diverse ecosystems.
