CNRSResearch Fellow at the CNRS, MARBEC – Montpellier.
Sébastien VILLEGER is a community ecologist. He has developed methods and tools for measuring aspects of functional diversity. He has studied the functional diversity of freshwater and reef fish on a large scale, and their responses to global changes (warming, biological invasions). Recently, he has been interested in the interactions between fish and microorganisms and in the applications of artificial intelligence to measure fish diversity.
