Sandrine ALLAIN
INRAELESSEM, Grenoble.
Sandrine Allain, whose work is rooted in ecological economics, conducts research on the governance of natural environments, the reconciliation of competing resource uses—such as water and forests—and the socio-economic processes of ecological transition and climate change adaptation taking place within territories.
Her work generally combines critical analysis with participatory support approaches (scenario-building and deliberative evaluation), adopting a science–society interface perspective.
Sandrine Allain places a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity and on transforming perceptions, practices, and environmental governance in support of fair and sustainable transitions.
