FRB-CESAB - Postdoc
Matthew FAITH joined the FRB in September 2026 as postdoctoral researcher at the synthesis center, CESAB, of the FRB. He is working on the FISHMIP-OSP project that is bringing together an ensemble of fisheries socio-ecological simulations to improve the evidence available for risk-informed marine governance.
Matt’s primary research interest is on the societal risks of climate-driven ecosystem change. He previously completed a PhD at the University of Plymouth exploring the ecosystem service impacts of long-term ocean warming, spending part of his PhD as an enrichment student at the Alan Turing Institute.
