Katherine HÉBERT
FRB-CESAB - Postdoc
Katherine HÉBERT joined the FRB as part of the KH Protected Areas project in September 2026 as a postdoctoral researcher at Paris-Saclay University in Paris and at CESAB, FRB’s synthesis center, in Montpellier. This project explores protected areas as Nature based-Solutions for protecting biodiversity from global to local scales in a context of climate change.
Her research focuses on integrating ecological data, theory and models to summarise the complexity of biodiversity change for conservation in an era of global change. Her previous work includes the testing, development, and selection of biodiversity indicators, and the exploration of how participatory science can help to measure and monitor biodiversity in Canada.
