Céline BELLARD
CNRSCNRS, ESE – Paris, Saclay.
Céline Bellard has extensive expertise in global change issues, particularly within island ecosystems, as well as in macroecology and biological invasions. In particular, she investigates the large-scale impacts of biological invasions on different facets of biodiversity, including taxonomic and functional diversity, and seeks to identify the traits associated with species’ vulnerability to invasive species. Her research is rooted in the field of biogeography, aiming to understand the factors that influence species distributions and the underlying mechanisms involved, with a particular focus on conservation biology.
