Cathleen PETIT

Cathleen Petit obtained her PhD at the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (INRAE), within the ecology of Mediterranean forests unit, Avignon. The aim of her thesis was to localise and understand the mortality risk of forest trees in a global change context. Cathleen also holds a bachelor in sociology and tries as much as possible to adopt an integrative approach to biodiversity conservation.

Her current project aims to identify potential levers to conciliate human development and conservation by studying the links between socio-economical and biodiversity indicators.
