Brendan COOLSAET is a Qualified Researcher at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) and a Professor at UCLouvain, in Belgium.

 

His research lies at the intersection of critical environmental theory (particularly environmental justice), scientific political ecology, and biodiversity conservation. Trained in both environmental sciences and political and social sciences, Brendan COOLSAET focuses on issues of inequality and justice raised by environmental transition and transformation processes, particularly in relation to biodiversity conservation, food and agriculture systems, and territorial development.
