Aurélie COULON
MNHNCESCO/CEFE – Paris/Montpellier.
Aurélie Coulon has expertise in spatial ecology, as well as in data synthesis and interdisciplinary collaborations with the social sciences and humanities. Her research focuses on mobility: she studies the factors that influence animal movements (particularly dispersal) and gene flow, with a strong emphasis on landscape composition and structure.
Aurélie Coulon also investigates how human-induced landscape changes, such as fragmentation, affect animal movement, as well as their consequences for population structure and functioning. Her work is therefore closely linked to population management and conservation, as well as landscape planning.
