Frédéric AUDARD
Brest University / AMULETG – CNRS : UMR 6554 Littoral, Environnement, Télédétection, Géomatique – Brest.
Frédéric Audard‘s research activities are deeply rooted in biodiversity issues, explored at the interface between ecological dynamics and human uses. His work focuses in particular on managing human visitation within marine protected areas, examining the impacts of human pressures on ecosystems, the associated governance mechanisms, and decision-support tools designed to reconcile biodiversity conservation with the continuation of human activities.
As Director of the Zone Atelier Brest Iroise (ZABrI), he is actively involved in collective and interdisciplinary reflection on the compatibility of human uses, public policies, and the conservation of natural areas. He also fosters ongoing dialogue among researchers from different disciplines, managers of protected areas, and institutional stakeholders, with the aim of producing knowledge that can be directly applied in practice.
Frédéric Audard also has a particular specialization in data-related and modelling issues.
