{"id":7180,"date":"2019-06-07T16:10:24","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T14:10:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/the-frb-in-action\/programs-and-projects\/le-cesab\/rainbio\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T17:17:22","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T16:17:22","slug":"rainbio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/en\/the-frb-in-action\/programs-and-projects\/le-cesab\/rainbio\/","title":{"rendered":"RAINBIO"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page\" data-page-number=\"1\" data-loaded=\"true\">\n<div class=\"textLayer\">\n<p>As a result of climate change and anthropogenic pressures such as deforestation for timber exploitation or urbanization, <strong>Africa&#8217;s tropical rainforests are undergoing major changes.<\/strong> In order to be able to effectively preserve these fragile environments with a high diversity of species, it is essential to be able to assess their current state and estimate their evolution in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sustainable management of an environment requires a complete and up-to-date database on the abundance, nature and distribution of the species present in this environment. These information can be linked with other factors to develop models and scenarios.
