Over the course of about thirty hours consisting of workshops, scientific conferences and field visits, public officials will be trained on the three issues: climate, biodiversity and natural resources.<\/p>\n

The Foundation for Biodiversity Research<\/a> (FRB) supports this program by leading a call for expressions of interest aimed at scientific staff from higher education and research (ESR) establishments to carry out popularization conferences on the challenges of the ecological transition for State agents and\/or trainers within ESR establishments.<\/p>\n The FRB also works with its Scientific Council and external experts to make available resources on biodiversity to facilitate the transmission of concepts, key messages and solutions to understand the issues and participate in the fight against the erosion of life.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To ensure the scientific rigor of the program, a scientific support and expertise group has been set up (see list of scientific personalities involved below), co-led by Luc Abbadie (Sorbonne University) and Laurence Tubiana (European Climate Foundation).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deployment of the training in the field will be managed by territorial scientific councils with the support of the CNRS in conjunction with the prefectures.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Au cours d\u2019une trentaine d\u2019heures compos\u00e9es d’ateliers, de conf\u00e9rences scientifiques et de visites de terrain, les agents publics seront form\u00e9s aux trois enjeux : climat, biodiversit\u00e9 et ressources naturelles.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Members of the support group:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 Luc Abbadie (Sorbonne University) <\/p>\n The ministerial advisors in charge of this matter:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 Jane Lecomte \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A call for expressions of interest resulted in over 1,260 responses from scientists across the country, available to lead conferences and discussions on three key issues: climate, biodiversity, and natural resources, and to provide ad hoc support to government agencies in their respective regions.
