{"id":9361,"date":"2020-01-14T15:08:12","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T14:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/membre\/andrew-helmstetter\/"},"modified":"2021-01-21T15:01:42","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T14:01:42","slug":"andrew-helmstetter-2","status":"publish","type":"membre","link":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/en\/membre\/andrew-helmstetter-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Andrew HELMSTETTER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Andrew Helmstetter<\/strong> a rejoint la FRB en f\u00e9vrier 2020 en tant que postdoctorant au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/en\/about-the-foundation\/le-cesab\/\">Cesab<\/a> sur le projet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/en\/the-frb-in-action\/programs-and-projects\/le-cesab\/divers\/\">DiveRS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nIl a obtenu son doctorat de l&#8217;Imperial College de Londres en 2016 et a ensuite effectu\u00e9 des recherches postdoctorales d&#8217;abord au Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, puis \u00e0 l&#8217;Institut de recherche pour le d\u00e9veloppement (IRD) de Montpellier. Il s&#8217;int\u00e9resse \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation des approches phylog\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et de g\u00e9n\u00e9tique des populations pour comprendre les origines de la diversit\u00e9. Il pose des questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la distribution de la diversit\u00e9 au sein des esp\u00e8ces, entre les zones g\u00e9ographiques et \u00e0 travers l&#8217;arbre de vie.
