{"id":30035,"date":"2025-06-03T10:19:38","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T08:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/membre\/anne-larigauderie\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T10:24:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T08:24:14","slug":"anne-larigauderie","status":"publish","type":"membre","link":"https:\/\/www.fondationbiodiversite.fr\/en\/membre\/anne-larigauderie\/","title":{"rendered":"Anne LARIGAUDERIE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr. Anne Larigauderie<\/strong>\u00a0was the Executive Secretary of IPBES between 2014 and May 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She spent the first part of her career as a research scientist, working on the impact of climate change on plant physiology and ecology in various ecosystems across several continents.<\/p>\n<p>She then occupied several positions at the interface between science and policy. She is the former Executive Director of DIVERSITAS, the international programme dedicated to biodiversity science.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, she was made \u201cChevalier dans l\u2019Ordre national de la L\u00e9gion d\u2019Honneur\u201d and in 2021 \u201cOfficier dans l\u2019Ordre national de la L\u00e9gion d\u2019Honneur\u201d. She has received several Honorary Doctoral Degrees,. Under her leadership, IPBES received several prestigious Prizes, including the Biodiversity Award of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (2021), the Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity shared with IPCC (2022) and the Blue Planet Prize (2024).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Anne retired from IPBES at the end of April 2025.
