In this role, she is studying how human-driven changes to landscapes affect biodiversity in European farmlands.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She completed her PhD in Geography at the Universit\u00e9 Sorbonne Paris Nord, where her research focused on how climate change and human activities influence the shifting upper forest boundaries in the French Pyrenees. <strong>D\u00e9borah Birre<\/strong> specializes in the collection and analysis of large, multi-scale datasets, employing geomatics and spatial analysis methods, along with field surveys.
