The workshop sets the scene for more widespread use of decision analysis and support methods, based on state of the art scenarios and models at the regional and global level.

Objectives of the meeting were:

  • 1. Identify and assess approaches to utilising and interpreting biodiversity scenarios

  • 2. Set the research and adoption agenda to maximise the uptake and beneficial use of models, scenarios and decision support approaches at broad geo-political scales

  • 3. Develop a community of practice to support the use of models and scenarios in complex multi-lateral decision-making
